Child resistant bags for cannabis
Licensed producers and micro cultivators need bags that pass child resistance testing, keep the smell in and leave room for Health Canada’s required labels. Our CR mylar bags do all three, in plain packaging colours that keep your compliance team happy.

Valved bags for coffee roasters
Fresh roasted beans give off CO2 for days. A one way valve lets that gas out without letting oxygen in, so bags don’t puff up and your coffee stays fresh longer. Add a matte panel for roast dates and you’re set.

Pick what you’re packing and how much goes in each bag. You’ll get a starting size in inches and centimetres, drawn to scale next to a credit card.

Sizes are for whole beans with room above the zipper. Dark roasts weigh less per bean, so give them a little more room.

What does CR mean on mylar bags?
CR stands for child resistant. A CR mylar bag has a special zipper that young children have trouble opening but adults can open and close. Cannabis products sold in Canada must be in child resistant packaging, which is why CR bags are so common in that industry.
What is the minimum order for custom printed mylar bags?
It depends on how the bags are printed. Digital printing needs no plates, so runs can start in the hundreds per design. Rotogravure printing costs more to set up but brings the price per bag down on big runs. Tell us your quantity and we’ll recommend whichever works out cheaper.
How long do custom mylar bags take?
Most custom orders take about 2 to 4 weeks after you approve your proof, depending on quantity, printing method and finish. Plain stock bags ship sooner. If you have a launch date, tell us up front and we’ll plan around it.
Are mylar bags food safe?
Yes, when they’re made for food. Our food bags use a food contact safe inner layer, usually polyethylene, while the outer layers block light, oxygen and moisture. Ask and we’ll send the spec sheet for your exact structure.
Can mylar bags be recycled?
Classic foil mylar bags are several layers bonded together, which makes them hard to recycle in most Canadian programs. If recycling matters to your brand, ask about recyclable mono material pouches or compostable kraft options. We’ll be honest about the barrier trade offs.
Do you sell plain mylar bags too?
Yes. If you’re not ready for custom printing, plain bags in standard sizes and colours work well with a printed label. It’s a popular way to launch a product and test the market before ordering printed bags.

We do. We ship to every province and territory, from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador and up north. Shipping depends on the size and weight of your order and is included in your quote.
